Barry, a native of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, studied at Mount Allison University and continued further studies at Westminster Choir College, Princeton, New Jersey in conducting and organ. He also studied organ in England and France. Barry is an exceptional musician who has many career credits in voice, organ, accompanying, teaching, conducting and composing.

Barry is teaching Vocal Technique/Repertoire for Beginners, Celtic Music and conducting Choir for All.
