North Africa’s rich musical culture is derived from the various peoples that have lived and traveled through the region. This class will listen to music samples and learn about some of the influences which include Andalusian and Middle Eastern music. In this ensemble, melodies are played and complimented with improvised harmonies offering the opportunity to learn about styles and their traditional scales. |
