"Fun. Inspiring. Energetic." - a past participant

An exciting introduction to the great musical tradition of New Orleans, Louisiana, which has a vibe and history unlike anywhere else in the world. Paul will tackle a sample of music from various points in New Orleans history and you'll get a feel for what makes it tick, learn repertoire, learn some improvising techniques, and generally have a blast!

Is this class for you?

This course is for all instrumentalists, especially brass and rhythm section instruments. Limited space for vocalists. It’s helpful to have some basic music reading skills but it’s not required. This ensemble will perform at the end of the week.
