Balfolk 2016 P1640284.jpg

Balfolk is an event for folk dance and music originating from the French traditions in Europe, but also incorporates dances from across Europe, as far north as Scandinavia, and as far east as Macedonia. Each year, the class will explore the Balfolk culture from one or more of these regions.

An exciting opportunity to learn about the relationship between music and dance. Participants will learn simple folk dances and form the instrumental ensemble (Bal) to accompany the dancers.
