In jazz, blues, funk and popular music, guitarists, pianists, bassists and drummers work together to create the foundation for many ensembles. This class will focus on the techniques and approaches these instrumentalists need to work together in different genres.
This class will discuss skills such as how to accompany soloists and participants will develop their skills of reading, listening and playing basic rhythms to create a groove and shape a performance.
For guitarists, bassists, drummers and keyboard players who can follow lead sheets.This class will not perform at the end of the week.This class has limited enrolment.
