One of the great things about being at Lake Field Music camp is having the opportunity to get together with others to make music. It can happen during breaks or after evening performances... in an empty classroom or outside. Just remember, people need to rest as well, so it’s quiet time in the dormitories from 1:30 to 2:30pm and 10:30pm to 7:30am.
Can’t find people to play with? The 45-series offers a variety of drop-in activities during the afternoon break, 1:45 to 2:30pm. Registration not required.
Jam 45 with our facultyOne of our coaches will lead a jam session each day. Bring your instrument/voice and join the fun or just drop-in to listen. We’ll have some charts, but feel free to bring your own.
Art 45 with Melody Blondel Art45 is all about carving out a little space in your busy day where you can decompress, reflect and play. No special skills or experiences are required. All you need to do is show up. We have art materials for you to use and lots of ideas and encouragement to get you started! We also welcome you to drop in, borrow materials and then go and find your own quiet space around the campus to create in. Come and discover how a little bit of creative ‘you time’ can refresh your days and enrich your week at camp.
Dance 45 with Alice Bond This dance class is a great way to get your body moving and enjoy some exercise. It will include an introduction to dances from around the world, with inspiration from some of our music classes. We will also explore different styles of movement, such as ballet, classic jazz and modern dance. No previous experience required.
