Bluegrass Singers with Patrick Headley

Barbershop is a gender and voice-type inclusive genre of a cappella music in four close parts. It is characterized by tight harmonies, ringing chords, and enthusiastic expression. Known for bringing some theatrics into music, this style of music leans heavily into bold, expressive singing, nostalgia, and fun! In this performing class, you will learn about the Barbershop style, its rich harmonic texture, and what it means to be a Barbershopper!
