This class will be split in two groups based on participant ability level and goals. Participants must prepare and bring the content/music to class. The coaches will provide constructive guidance aimed at improving the mechanics of playing piano and overall musicianship. Alexia will teach a group master class where each pianist will perform 1 to 3 pieces (depending on time constraints) they have prepared in advance. You’ll play for each other and learn from each other. Sheet music and reading skills are required for this session. Ariel will teach short private lessons, a maximum of four participants will split the time each day. Practice cubicles with a keyboard will be available when you are not in a lesson. Bring your musical questions, problems and sheet music. Basic music reading skills are helpful. |
