This workshop will address technique, musicianship, interpretation and how to collaborate with another singer and piano accompanist. Duet music will be selected and made available before camp. Songs (both parts if possible) should be learned in advance but do not need to be memorized. Participants will be able to change partners and duets throughout the week. We will have fun through a learning singing partnership.
For intermediate/advanced singers with some experience singing with an accompanist.
Sight-reading skills, listening skills and singing in tune are required.
Participants perform for the class, but not the end-of-week concerts. Other opportunities to perform include evening concerts earlier in the week.
This class has limited enrolment.
