L-Pop is a yet-to be-classified music style originating from the exuberance of LFM camp and drawing inspiration from a range of styles and genres including pop and rock music. This ensemble will include a small group of singers and a rhythm section. Singers will take turns in lead and backup roles and learn with the instrumentalists to function as a band in preparation for a performance.
For intermediate/advanced singers with experience singing in harmony with others. For advanced players of keyboard, guitar, bass, drum kit and percussion with the ability to read lead sheets and some experience playing in a band. Listening and ensemble skills are required. This ensemble will perform at the end of the week. This class has limited enrolment.
