This class is a mix of group lesson and individual coaching. It would be beneficial to bring music that you have already rehearsed for singing in class, and please bring an extra (legible) copy of the music for the coach/accompanist. If you don’t bring music, consider a song from one of your other classes or the coach may have something suitable.
Experienced singers and those with prior vocal instruction will explore ways to increase range, voice projection, breath control for long phrases, vowel manipulation, use of resonating cavities, fast-note passage control, and to improve straight-tone and vibrato technique.
This class is for intermediate/advanced singers of classical, standards, pop and folk music.
Participants may perform for the class, but not the end-of-week concerts.
This class has limited enrolment.
