This class offers an opportunity to explore the world of rhythm through body percussion (clap, snap, stomp, tap), bucket drumming (sometimes called ‘street drumming') and other simple percussion tools and sound effects in a fun and non-technical environment. Participants will use sticks and hands (and sometimes other objects) to explore various rhythms, sound, texture through group playing, call and response and active listening in a relaxed non-performance focused environment. |
