This class is for musicians who have never improvised before but would like to try. It will get you having fun improvising over easy jazz pieces or basic chord progressions, with theory introduced as needed and audio examples to illustrate ideas. You’ll learn how to read a lead sheet and chord symbols. The class will be set up as introductory jazz ensemble with a safety net for those who want to jump in! |
