This class will explore ways to strengthen one's internal sense of beat and rhythm, from learning to recognize rhythmic patterns and using a metronome to carrying two rhythms at the same time, for example, clapping one rhythm and vocalizing another. Short interactive games, rhythmic exercises, simple listening and ensemble techniques will also help develop not only your sense of time, but how to make music with others. |
