Jenny is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the VOCA Chorus of Toronto. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario (MusBac, B.Ed), where she studied piano with Gwen Beamish and choral conducting with Deral Johnson.

She has had a richly varied career as a professional musician, which has included over 40 years as a collaborative pianist, coach, clinician and teacher; accompanist and composer for dance and theatre; choral conductor and arranger; vocalist with the Toronto vocal jazz sextet "Union Station", back-up singer and keyboardist on several recordings; and performer with numerous ensembles in Toronto (including the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Operetta Theatre and the Orpheus Choir of Toronto).

She is the collaborative pianist on singer Patricia O'Callaghan's debut CD, “Youkali,” recipient of a coveted 'Critic's Choice' review in Billboard Magazine.

Jenny's choral arrangements have been performed by VOCA, the Jubilate Singers and the Bach Children’s Chorus, as well as by several choirs in the U.S. She has conducted numerous choral workshops with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and CAMMAC Toronto, and with other local and regional ensembles.

In May 2015, Jenny had the honour of co-conducting a group of 85 choristers from 6 different provinces, including 40 singers from the VOCA Chorus of Toronto, at NYC's Carnegie Hall.

In 2016, Jenny and the VOCA Chorus of Toronto were thrilled to welcome the world-renowned composer, pianist and recording artist, Ola Gjeilo as their Fall clinician. Mr. Gjeilo invited Jenny to assemble a group of choristers to perform in an April 2018 massed choir concert of his major work, Dreamweaver, with orchestra, and the composer at the piano - at Carnegie Hall. Shortly thereafter, VOCA was honoured to perform the Canadian Premiere of this work.

In April 2020, Jenny and Jamie Drake co-produced VOCA's first virtual choir video, Morten Lauridsen's Sure On This Shining Night, which resulted in a glowing review in a Mirvish Productions newsletter and currently has close to 7,000 views.

VOCA recently performed a World Premiere (now published by Cypress Music) of Anang (A Star), a stunning work by JUNO-nominated Cree composer Andrew Balfour. The choir was honoured to be invited to perform in Roy Thomson Hall's Choir & Organ Series in April 2020. This performance and another (both featuring this recently premiered work) were rescheduled for late April, 2023.
