Lake Field Music Inc., a non-profit corporation, was created in 2010, but has operated as the CAMMAC Ontario Music Centre since 1977. It provides amateur musicians the opportunity to enjoy music-making and develop their skills in a congenial atmosphere. The annual summer music camp has taken residence in Muskoka, Bolton, Oakville and now Lakefield College School since 2004.
Lake Field Music Inc. supports a network of musicians by offering the music camp as well as workshops, readings and concerts in Peterborough and Toronto. In addition, Facebook and Twitter are being used to promote activities of the faculty and participants. The organization helps people make music participation a lifelong experience.
No auditions required; play, sing, and be inspired.
