This instrumental ensemble will explore musical ideas from around the globe, drawing on the specific skills of the participants. Musical themes will include rhythmic, melodic, harmonic and textural explorations using both written 'scores' and improvisational elements for those who are interested.

Is this class for you?

Open to intermediate/advanced ability with brass, woodwinds, piano, guitar, bass, percussion.
Novice level may join with the understanding that some parts may be challenging.
Listening and modest reading skills are required.
Simple improvisation is encouraged but not required.
This ensemble will perform at the end of the week.
