Jenny is the Artistic Director and Conductor of the VOCA Chorus of Toronto. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario (MusBac, B.Ed), where she studied piano with Gwen Beamish and choral conducting with Deral Johnson.

She has had a richly varied career as a professional musician, which has included 40 years as a collaborative pianist, coach, clinician and teacher; accompanist and composer for dance and theatre productions; vocalist with the Toronto vocal jazz sextet "Union Station", as well as back-up singer and keyboardist on 2 recordings; performer with several ensembles in Toronto (including the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Operetta Theatre and the Orpheus Choir of Toronto); and choral conductor and arranger.

She is the collaborative pianist on singer Patricia O'Callaghan's debut CD, “Youkali,” recipient of a coveted 'Critic's Choice' review in Billboard Magazine.

Jenny's choral arrangements have been performed by VOCA, the Jubilate Singers and the Bach Children’s Chorus, as well as by several choirs in the U.S. She has been invited to conduct numerous choral workshops with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and CAMMAC Toronto, as well as with local and regional ensembles.

In May 2015, Jenny had the honour of co-conducting a group of 85 choristers from 6 different provinces, including 40 singers from the VOCA Chorus of Toronto, at NYC's Carnegie Hall.

In 2016, Jenny and the VOCA Chorus of Toronto were thrilled to welcome the world-renowned composer, pianist and recording artist, Ola Gjeilo as their fall clinician. Mr. Gjeilo invited Jenny to assemble a group of choristers to perform in an April 2018 concert of his works with orchestra, and the composer at the piano - at Carnegie Hall!

In April 2020, Jenny and Jamie Drake co-produced VOCA's first virtual choir video, Morten Lauridsen's Sure On This Shining Night, which resulted in a glowing review in a Mirvish Productions newsletter and currently has over 6,400 views. VOCA was honoured to have been invited to perform at Roy Thomson Hall as part of its Choir & Organ Series in April 2020. Due to the pandemic, this performance (which will feature a stunning, newly commissioned work by renowned Cree composer Andrew Balfour) has been rescheduled for April 2023.
